Decades ago Orlando was just another central Florida town filled with orange groves. But that changed in the 1960's when Walt Disney purchased such a spot for his next theme park, Disney World. The Disney franchise grew over the years to include MGM and Epcot to name a few. Decades later other amusements began to enter the Orlando area such as Sea World, Wet 'n' Wild, Universal Studios and most recent, Discovery Cove. Thanks to amusement areas such as Downtown Disney and Universal Citywalk, people living or visiting in the area can enjoy the Orlando nightlife and gain easy access to top quality acts and events no matter what time of the year it might be.
